Four Public Construction Projects Win Yuan Ye Awards Yang Wen-Ke: “We’ll Keep Building High-quality Projects”

The 2021 winners of the 27th Yuan Ye Awards held by the Kaohsiung City Construction and Business Association have been announced. The Zhudong Chung Hsing Riverbank and Pedestrian System Re-make Project of Hsinchu County won the award in the “Public Construction Project Landscape” category; and the Chia Feng Non-profit Preschool and Infant Care Center, Pei Pu Junior High School Demolition and Reconstruction Project, and Hua Shan Junior High School Toilet Renovation Project won awards in the “Campus Building Landscape” category. The awards ceremony was held in the Hsinchu County Government building yesterday (October 21st). Hsinchu County Magistrate Yang Wen-Ke led the County Government team in accepting the awards, and thanked the judges for praising Hsinchu County’s public construction projects.

Hsinchu County Magistrate Yang Wen-Ke indicated that he has adopted the highest standards to supervise public construction projects, school construction, and renovation projects since he took office, and also required that the projects be completed on schedule. This year, the Kaohsiung City Construction and Business Association adopts the five-day-four-night method of circulating around Taiwan to present the awards. The Magistrate expressed gratitude that the Association has held the selection, and thanked the judges for their approval of Hsinchu County’s public construction projects. The Magistrate further pledged that he will continue to build public construction projects with even higher quality and better aesthetics.
