Mr. and Mrs. Huang donate a rehab bus to provide the disabled with transport services

In an effort to give back to society, local citizens Mr. and Mrs. Huang donate a rehab minibus to Hsinchu County Government. The minibus, thanks to the couple's kindness, will be able to provide pick-up services for disabled residents when they need to see a doctor, go to school, go to work, or go to government agencies. It will also allow the disabled to go out and actively participate in a variety of social activities without worries about the transportation. Through the donation, Mr. and Mrs. Huang hope to give warmth to those in need and offer them practical assistance.

Led by Magistrate Yang Wen-ke, Hsinchu County Government has been devoted to improving its social welfare. It has made use of the earnings of the public welfare lottery to provide barrier-free transport services. Up until now, the 30 rehab buses run by the county government have served more than 550,000 people in total and surely helped the disabled with their transport needs.

In the future, Hsinchu County Government will keep taking care of the underprivileged, creating happiness, and enhancing public well-being to make Hsinchu County a livable, healthy and happy city. Mentally and physically challenged residents will soon benefit from the rehab bus donated by Mr. and Mrs. Huang this year. And we believe the couple's admirable spirits will live on and warm more people.
