Come explore Hsinchu County during 2017 Hsinchu County Cultural FestivalHsinchu County Cultural Festival has entered its fourth year and is going be held from November 4th to 26th in 2017. This year’s festival has two themes, including “Finding the Taste of Hsinchu County” and “Hsinchu County in Suitcases.” On November 25th, selections from the 11 cultural halls and museums in Hsinchu County will be gathered and displayed at once at New Tile House Hakka Cultural District. Visitors who join in a series of games and successfully collect 7 stamps can get exquisite souvenirs. Magistrate Chiu Ching-chun sincerely invites people to explore the charms of Hsinchu County with five senses and encourage people to visit local cultural halls and museums. In addition, there will be in-depth tours held respectively on November 11th and 12th. Visitors can know more about the industry and culture of Hsinchu County while taking a train along Neiwan Railway Line.
 
 
Magistrate Chiu revealed that the government has made years of efforts to integrate the culture, industry, and tourism and to build a great reputation for providing high quality local products. This year’s Hsinchu County Cultural Festival will get underway at the 11 local cultural halls and museums simultaneously. Through “Finding the Taste of Hsinchu County,” tourists can visit ancestral halls, experience aboriginal culture and get closer to local aesthetics. Magistrate Chiu, along with 11 representatives from the cultural halls and museums, is looking forward to your visit.
 
 
The in-depth tours held on November 11th and 12th mainly feature Neiwan Railway Line. The guide will lead tourists to visit attractions from Zhudong to Neiwan by train and will share the history of local industrial development in a more in-depth way. On November 25th, in addition to the stamp collecting activity mentioned above, there will be also splendid band performances taking place at New Tile House at 2:30 p.m.
