The Minister of Science &Technology said that the center will carry out three themes: “local links, international links and future links” and four measures: “establishment of sound ecosystems, integration of innovative clusters, linking with international market, promotion of key industries,” as President Tsai Ing-wen has indicated. The central government hopes to make Taiwan an important Asian hub for the biomedical industry, urge the development of the industry, and boost the economy of Taiwan and the well-being of its people.

With the gradual development of the 38.3-hectare biomedical park, Magistrate Chiu thanked the central government for its support. He said all the bureaus and departments of Hsinchu County Government will continue to give full cooperation to help the local biomedical industry grow.
