2016 Hsinchu County International Comic & Animation Art Festival has begun and anime stars and creative market attract the crowds.
The 2016 Hsinchu County International Comic & Animation Art Festival is being held for two successive weekends from October 15 at Zhudong Anime Park and Hexing Train station. This is the biggest anime festive to be held in Taiwan this year and the festival is associating with other events in the three animation parks and events along the Neiwan Branch Line. Two special events like Family Carnival and Railway Creative Market were held during the opening days. County Magistrate Chiu Ching-chun said there are more great events coming, including Anime Themed Afternoon Tea, Anime Stars’ Fan Meeting and Anime Film Marathon. The ceremony of twinning Hexing Love Station and Japan’s Obihiro City’s Happiness Station with serval special events will be held on October 22. Everyone is welcome to visit Hsinchu County to take a railway tour, watch anime and enjoying all of the special events.
When a large Pikachu and other figures appeared, many children and adults are really excited to take pictures. People love the Family Carnival and children are having fun with inflatable playground equipment. There are also Pokémon dancing shows in the park. In the afternoon, the Baby Sports Meet was the highlight of the carnival. Events are included a baby crawling race, a toddler fitness contest and child muscle stamina competition. The winners awarded numerous prizes and many parents entered their children in competition.
Artists work on display and sailing their work of art at the Railway Creative Market, including flower art, painting, blue dye, hand-drawn anime, wood art and ceramic art which attract a large number of visitors that took a fancy of the art product and purchased. 2016 Hsinchu County International Comic & Animation Art Festival is the biggest annual event in Taiwan this year. The event will be held two weekends start from October 15, everyone is welcome to visit Zhudong Anime Park, Hexing Animation Park and Neiwan Animation Park to have the best time.
