Hsinchu County named the Most Improved City in Anti-Illegal drugs EffortsEarlier this year, the Ministry of Justice released the 2014 Local Drugs Abuse Prevention Centers Supervision Report, giving suggestions to help local government fight against illegal-drugs use. Hsinchu County was rated as excellent in group 2 by the Ministry of Justice recently for its effort to making adjustments and improvements aligned with the report on anti-illegal drugs. It was also the only city/county to earn the Most Improved City/county Award. Hsinchu County will be honored at the 2015 National Conference on Anti-illegal Drugs. Tung-Cheng Yin, public director of General Health Bureau of Hsinchu County, gave the award to Magistrate Chiu at weekly county meeting on December 9, 2014. The magistrate paid tribute to the staff for their work in prevention drugs abuse. He hoped the county government to continue strengthening the fight against illegal drugs in an effort to protect citizen’s health and maintain good morals.
