Currently, the YouBike system in Xinpu is under accelerated construction and is expected to be operational by the middle of this year, further enhancing the quality of public transportation and making residents’ lives more convenient.
Hsinchu County Magistrate Yang Wen-ke said that the increased number of stations and improved deployment capacity will make bicycle rental more convenient. By providing the public with green transportation, he hopes to bring about a better life of commuting and leisure and create a happy city.
The ten new stations include: Gaotie 6th Rd./Aikou 8th St., Gong 3 Park (Aikou 2nd Rd.), and Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park (North Gate), which are near the THSR Hsinchu Station and can meet the needs of THSR and Taiwan Railway passengers during peak hours; Ln. 29 Sec. 3 Fenggang Rd., Xinxi St./Xizhou Rd., and Ziqiang N.
